not 8v, i think only the 16v is cross-flow, unless i'm wrong - in which case, where's my credit card...

looking at the pipe work, it'd be obstructed by the brake fluid res. aswell on our 8v's;
and the pipe work to the top of the engine is at the wrong angle.

I'd suspect its only the 16v as my 8v aint crossflowed :s

its the power graph thats confusing me. 177bhp from a supercharged 16v can't be right surely.

i think its a 1.8 16v

all 8vs read the bottom, either that or someones nicked a cam, for the money tho why not 20vt??? i know people keep harping on about the 20vt but for the cost of the kit, plus new gearbox, i seriously doubt the 8v gearbox could handle 180brake and lb/f for any amount of time.

Its an 8v crossflow...

Its a 2.0 8v for sure, only seen them type of engines on US VW's only

You'd need to locate a US cross flowed head for the bahn brenner supercharger kit, its an options I've been looking into.

Thinking about it works out to about £1555 (before uk duty) which seems good VFM. Its enough to make me consider forced induction again....
