engine management light

today i was driving home and the managemnt light flickered now stops illuminated, nothing feels different when driving the car, although when it 1st started it kinda spluttered for a cpl of seconds, this is the 2nd time thiss week its done it.
Any ideas??

yeh i knew that i neede to get that done, just thought id ask if any thing i could look at before i did,
btw i forgot it was serviced on sat, and 1 of coilpack leads came loose and caused a missfire but thought id sorted that

sounds like a dodgey coilpack - back as above; fault code will help alot!

had new 1s fitted march. i fitted bosch platignum plugs replacing ngk iridium plugs maybe it dont like them

oh and on friday i had a cambelt kit and waterpump fitted, maybe some sensor not fitted properly, il be intouch with garage in morning

well iv had the fault codes removed, it was a 19824291 lol cant think of numnber but ment pressure los btw throttle body and ic, and coil pack fault on number 3
which means dodgy conection when i swapped the plugs last and and a crap connection on plug 3

Hi jase, yep it was one code causing the other with the bad coilpack connection having a knock-on effect on the mixture. I doubt you'll be seeing those again. The other one is the famous 17705 pressure drop, which is possible down to that split in your IC to TB hose. That one can actually throw you in to limp mode so if i were you i'd do a daily check on that split until we get it sorted to make sure it isn't getting any worse. Half throttle and steady driving if i were you
