Engine Managemant light staying on??

My engine management warning light is staying on and i have not noticed anything different with the car, all seems ok.
Does anybody have any suggestions what could be the problem??

any local garage in the area with a diagnostics machine which is OBD compliant will be able to check this for you. many places have them now. kwik fit and many local independent garages.

What you have to look out for is if you have had any previous problems which have been logged on the ECU and come up on the scan. you will have to find out which one is causing the new problem you have because you may have 5 codes come up for example but maybe only 1 or 2 will be the problem.the other codes may be from before if somebody hasnt erased the codes from the ecu memory. so clear the codes take the car for a good test drive and see which fault codes come back.
