Emissions light

Had the light come on randomly Saturday.

Has had a 30 mile motorway run since and still remains.

My code reader says code P2271, O2 sensor rich.

Hand book just says emissions fault.

Have booked in at the dealer as they want to look at it rather than I reset it. Hopefully nothing too major and it's still under warranty.

Turns out it needs a new O2 sensor.

Took to the dealer as pre arranged and after far too much waiting (for one and a half hours before they look at it) they tell me what I already told them. Only took 20 minutes once they got the car in the workshop.

I even said don't bother with the health check they love to do, to save time. It's 18months old and I'm not stupid after all.

Not impressed with Marshall SEAT Cambridge!!!

Advice was not to drive very far or it may damage the Cat. Maybe I'll take my private yet to work instead.....

If they can't supply another car then I have no choice.

So booked in next Friday for a new sensor.
