Email notifications of new posts - bit erratic ?

Is this just me, or is anyone else finding the email notification of new posts a bit hit and miss ?

I seem to get a few, but on numerous occasions I haven't received any emails about some threads I'm actively posting in

I've checked my spam folder in Gmail but it's not getting trapped in there...

Seriously though, I've not had any real problems with them aside from them being a tad slow on the odd occasion, but I don't know whether that's down to SCN or me as I host my own mail server.

Had a few problems today as well.

it can only be put down to your ISP if it's irratic in delivery. the server will pump them out in batches of 10 or so anyway - so it's virtually instant.

I've had this for months now - Although i get *SOME* emails of replies, I don't get them all. So i regularly log on and check my userCP for any replies that way.

I'm with hotmail, and it does it on most vbulletin forums, so not SCN specific.

I get random reply notification e-mails too. Have done for a while, but it used to be very good.
