Electronic engine cut out

ive tried searching nothing seems to match.

Driving along and all of a sudden the dials drop off, accelerator has no effect yet i keep radio and electric windows, pull over turn key off and on starts fine off it goes... theres also a chance it reset the mile counter under the total mileage alough the trip computer hasnt reset so guess that may be coincidence.

Im thinking immobilisor?

the engine doesnt cut out or stall untill i stop.

strange one...

How tall are you? a guy i know had this problem in his Polo, turned out he was hitting the ignition key to off with his knee as he was 6 foot 2!

Err no 2nd one of these cats I've owned about 3 years in total... Only just started. Cheers tho
