Electrical Problems & Hello

Hi

My daughter's car is an X reg Ibiza 1.4s which I bought her about 4 months ago. The problem is she had a elctrical engine fault warning light on. I brought it to a local garage, they run a diagnostic test found a fault and reset. The problem had been when she would start the car (sometimes) the lights wouldn't work, the heater wouldn't work and the indicators woulfdn't work (while driving along).

I brought it to a Seat dealer, they diagnosed the Lambda sensor and replaced it at £278 saying this should sort the problem. It didn't and I believe this is something they seem to do out of habit. Now she told me today if she turns the ignition gently it sometimes sets the problem off. Could it be a lose wire around the ignition causing this. I have to say I'm clueless when it come's to mechanics.

Thanks in advance

Cheers for that, honestly don't feel like taking it back to the dealer. Is that a big job?

never done one on an ibiza done about a million on k12 nissan micras just one multiplug and a few securing screw but you might neet to take the whole barrel off which means taking off the old shear bolts which can be a bit fiddley
