electrical fault???

ok i have searched pretty much all the forums here looking for an answer but to no avail (sorted out some other problems though) thanks for that...

when the interior light is switched to "door" sometimes it remains on when all the doors are closed and blinks off and on continually. I have also noticed that the light which illuminates the button for locking the electric windows does the same although not simultaneously.

My thoughts are bad earths but dont know. had it on vag com a few times but no interior faults showed.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if so did you find a solution?

I have had to replace all of my door pin switches now on both cars, kept playing up, replace one, then another ect

thanks but wouldn't it be easier just to bridge each door pin with a piece of wire to check if its broke? and any ideas as to why the other light keeps blinking (it stays on for long periods at a time then off for long periods (30 secs to 6 hours))?

I did but over the last year had to replace every one of them, but only one at a time.
