electric wing mirrors

Hi, I have recently bought a leon sport, can I just ask if it's possible to set the remote key automatically open/close the wing mirrors?

You can probably set it using VAG.COM (same option at the Remote Windows I think. Have a look at Dan's VAG.COM guide)
I am sure someone once posted the correct module and code for it somewhere.

can you get the mirrors to fold by any means? (do they have the facility?)

If it's a sport its probably pre 07 model. I have the same car and last service I asked the dealer to try and set this up to work with the remote key (the car has the fold function when you turn the knob) but they said the 07 cars had a different type of connector or something? He said he tried copying the code from a new car on the forecourt but it didnt work...Means little to me so it its complete sh1t please let me know!

On my '07 FR if i keep the lock button pressed for a few seconds when locking the car, the mirrors fold up automatically. Although they only fold down again when the ignition is turned on

I've got an 08 reg stylance sport and if i keep the lock button pressed for a few seconds when locking the car, the mirrors fold up automatically.and fold down again when the ignition is turned on.

my 57 plate fr does the same hold the button and they close. I remember a similar thread and i think you couldnt program it to do it automatically... maybe wrong though it does happen a lot!
