my electric windows are bing wierd. not had the car long, when i put them up (one touch thingy) the passenger one goes all the way up but stops about 4mm of bein totally closed?!? then have to push it again to close it all the way. the drivers does the same but stops just in the rubber seal, then moves up another 2-3mm when pushed again.

i tried the reset thing ive seen in another post, by holding the switch down, but didnt work?!?

any help appreciated

Could be something catching in the runner pal, if i remember correctly the windows have a function which stops them going up if there is something in the way. Have u checked the runners to see if there is anything stuck in them?

mine did that - then a few weeks ago the drivers window just stayed down after it went bump inside the door. new regulator and fitting by garage cost £174. with 90 mins labour inc taking it apart to try and fix/discover the problem. There are differewnt sorts of regulators depending on what type of switch it is - do a search on the forum and you'll find out more.

Good luck - hope your is cheaper than mine to solve!

got the same problem and tbh Ive got used to it so haven't really bothered sorting it.

Hmm, I remember reading somewhere that you could hold down the switches in the up or down position to reset them. Wish I could remember where!!

Might be worth doing a search on here though if its really bugging you.
