Electric Windows Problem

Hey, Was out in car earlier with window down and when I got home it was only going half way up and making a grinding noise as it was going up. After 9-10 attemps its up and now wont go back down....When you shut the door you can hear something knocking inside like a cable or that. What do I need and how much will it be lol Cheers Guys

seems like a window regulator, will cost around £60, well thats how much mine cost when i needed it. the grinding noise wil be coming from the glass rubbing against the bar in th regulator. hope that helps

1 of the white clips in the regulator has broken, the glass is on the skew so it makes a grinding noise as the motor struggles to lift it from 1 side.

As said a new regulator is about £60 and can be a DIY job, I did one on my brothers old Ibiza

Phoned Bickets regarding prices etc, They are wanting £194 fitted so i blanked that lol then asked her about contacting Seat aas the car has only covered 19k etc was told that I would need to book the car in and they would send a request (Good Will Gesture) to Seat....Do I Chance It and what do you think are the chances of them doing it? Car was out of warranty Sept
