Electric Window Switches

One of the electric window switches has been abused by a canine creature of the previous owner.

The result is the window (passenger side rear) will open but will not close with this window switch. the window can be closed from the window control in the drivers door.

I'd like to replace the trashed window switch, but where can I get a switch from (with costing the earth) and how do I extract the old switch from the door facia.

I have exactly the same problem! mapart from i have a heavy handed friend that broke mine! i was gunna go look in some salvage yards see if i can find one. let me know if you find a replacement and how much it is!

I think i have a rear switch in my garage, just confirm its the rear you want?

Yes its driver side rear door electric window switch.

anyone know how to extract said electric switch from the door panel facia?
I'm tempted to try and wriggle it out with a screw driver but don't want to cause additional damage. Is there a proper way to do this job?

Funny you should say that - been thinking about suggesting a "parts in the shed" section for a while now - this seems to confirm what I've always suspected (and tried to justify to the mrs.) that it's not only me that hoards small, useful parts incase someone needs them
