Electric window is slow

Hi

I just noticed that my passenger side electric window on my LC is going particularly slow when moving up and down compared to my driver side, almost as if something is obstructing it.

Some guy crashed into my passenger door and I got a new door put on.. Could the body shop have botched up something here when doing the repair does anyone thik?

I thought I'd get some thoughts before I call them.

Is it accompanied by any unpleasant noises? My driver's window has recently started making a loud 'cracking' noise when it reaches the top or bottom of its travel and it is quite slow when closing. I think I read before that it could be part of the mechanism unwinding itself or coming unseated somewhere, but I haven't had a chance to have a look yet.

I wouldn't use the window at all. The winding cable on my Polo recently got fouled up, causing the motor to burn out. That was not cheap to replace.

no noticable noise. Just seems to struggle to move up and down.

the guide may have been slightly bent if the door has been hit and replaced.
poor wiring...

im presuming the existing door internals were transfered over to the new door.
could be something out of line.. couldbe many things.
id take it back.

Is the motor the same as in a Golf/Passat/Octavia etc? Plenty of them at the scrap yard..
