electric window clips

hi guys i have a 99 seat toledo v5 and the plastic clips on the runners that hold the metal bit that holds the window in on the leccy window ancillary thing have broke on pass side,i tried getting through to seat but was engaged all day but 1 window guy said i cant buy the clips it has to be the full ancillary.is this right do u guys know of any wherei could buy the plastic clips.any help would be appreciated thanks,would these on this link work?????????????http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1015107

if you can post some picks of your reg bits i know what the golf ones look like as i work at the dealers and you can buy the upgrade metal bits as a kit to replace the crap plastic ones

a mate of mine who has a golf has this problem. How much do the metal upgrades cost?

depending how old the golf is vw know that this is a common problem and been doing a good will on them fitting them for free or just the labor charge but i will try to find out and post costs and part numbers if i can

u can buy both the plastic clips and the metal upgrade ones. my mate got the plastic ones from a vw/audi spares place, but im sure a dealer could sort you it with them no problem!

hi thanks for ur replies,i dont have access to a cam at tthe minute for pic
and have glued plastic clip whitch wont last.do u know if that vw window repair kit(£28-03 the metal one)is a universal 1 i was thinkin if it was for a few of the vw range bora/golf etc then it would more than likely fit ?????
