Electric folding side mirrors

I've got a Y plate leon, is there any way it can be configured to fold the side mirrors in automatically when i take the key out of the iginition and fold back out again when i turn the ignition?

I've though this would be cool. Possible with VAG-COM?

Only annoying thing is when you park up at the side of the road, fold the mirrors in and then try and get out. Got to be careful!

Good point, i will need to be ready before i take the ignition key out and get out quickly! If it gets annoying then i'll revert back to the manual way. If only it got be operated via the toad alarm remote that operates the central locking and windows..

You can do it with a click of the existing SEAT keyfob, but you need to buy and wire in an Autowindows module, do yourself a search on the forums for more info

I dont use the existing key fob as i have a toad alarm that does everything apart from this folding mirrors function. was hoping it could do that as well.

been searching around, like yourself, there is a mention of 'auto window module'. Can't i assume i have this already as when i press the close button on toad remote, the windows go up (if they are down) and the locks close and the alarm activates. Considering the windows go up, isnt it correct to assume the autowindow module is installed? Or does a different version need to be installed? How can i tell if the existing one has the capability to carry out the folding mirror function? I assume i will need to go to the VAG-CON forum for this.
