EGR Valve

The enigine management light came on a while ago and the car started juddering like a misfire, took it on a motorway run and it helped but was still an issue, gave it some redex and it seemed to solve it. But now its happening again, the light is still on.

Took it into a garage and they said its the EGR Valve. They have take 3 weeks to try and gt it but still no joy.

Anyone know where I can get one or if I can look at it myself and clean it up as I understand they get blocked with carbon?

You could try giving places like GSF, Euro Car Parts, VAGParts etc a call. Or your local Seat dealer, or even your local Audi dealer as the equivalent A3 might share the same part.

Thanks I'll give them a try, are there any part numbers for it? I dont even know what the thing looks like to find it on the net.

No idea to be honest. They should be able to find it based on description and name alone though.
