I have a Seat Leon Sport TFSI (alledgedly 185PS).

Would it be possible to swap the ECU - the whole unit - for an FR one (alledgedly 197PS)?

Would it be obvious? Would I need a VAG-COM wotsit to do the swap? What would it cost?

erm.. not sure why you want to do that?

Ive rolling roaded mine when standard and it was alot higher than 182bhp.

Even if you did want to swap it for the lower, it wouldnt be worth the small increase plus I would of thought its alot of hassle changing the ECU. Its quite complicated the ME9 ECU's.

why not just get a remap if you wanted a power increase, it transforms the car :)

Plus ECU's arnt cheap!
