ECU reset with Vag-com

The normal ECU reset,done by disconnecting the battery,leaving for 20 mins etc,I usually do this once a month or so,and the car always feels livelier afterwards,it's supposed to clear the ECU's memory,and then re-adapt,can this be achieved with vag-com?
Just saves messing around disconnecting the battery,re-setting radio's,window's etc.
Is this possible?

Just clear fault codes in the engine module (even if none are stored) to reset engine parameters, then follow the instructions in the link below to do a throttle body alignment.

Hi mate,thanks,so just a fault code reset will 'reset' the ecu parameters then yea?

Yeah, that will reset fuel trims etc. But Also do the throttle body alignment afterwards (when engine is cold).
