ECU question

hey people,

just have a little quesion, is there anyway that you can swap a ecu with another car? or is this me just having a small bulb over my head again

and also if you do, do this, would it make a difference, or will i really mess up the car?

dont think u can swap an ecu with a diffrent type of car, but you can swap them with the same engine model etc. Some people swap standerd ECUs for remaped ECUs think you might also have to change some bits using vag com, there is a thread about it in the vagcom section
