Anybody fitted one of these Ecotek CP26P valves to a Cupra 240 PS engine yet??

I fitted them to Laguna 1.6, Puma 1.7, Punto 1.2 (!) & Opel Monza 3 litre. Seemed to work well, but none of these were turbo'd..

These valves are £50, and to me, did improve MPG & pulling power noticably..

Anyone got any feedback??

I bought one for a Civic VTi I owned and had it returned within 1 week of buying it. Complete load of crap and a waste of money.

If you want more power and better mpg, get it mapped.

Jesus H Christ, how many times have we got to say this, That Ecotek valve taps into your brake line and does not improve performace at all as it is closed when on throttle and only opens on negative pressure which bleeds more air when you ease off the pedal.
If it worked for you then you are too stupid and gullible to own a car in the first place so take it back to the showroom for a refund.
Whats even worse is that there has been a public execution of this company since the products were taken to a lab and officially tested and the results came back saying that there was no improvement in power nor consumption and that their claims in their advertising were false and illegal. Now tell me again, how much improvement have you had?

Stupra, a forum search for "ecotek" brings up 4 pages of threads and the answers are the same every time - after a while, it can feel like Groundhog Day for the regulars.

They like you to do a search on here before you post anything.
Luckily the search on this forum is very good, it's just the 15 second wait between searches that annoys. One small typo in the search and you have to wait 15 seconds to do it again!
