just picked up my ibiza today and the aircon/heaters are confusing me. ive read the manual and that makes no sense either. it says when its off then it saves petrol, which makes sense. but i would say off was when the econ symbol wasnt on display. but when its not on display it sounds like its blowing and when it is on display it sounds like it isnt. ive confused my self writing this so i hope i havent confused any of you,any help with my dilema?

are you getting confused with the recirc? when the econ is on it says econ in the bottom right of the display, when its using the aircon it wont display the econ symbol

i wanted to know when the aircon was on and when it wasnt, i would of thought when you were using aircon the econ symbol would be shown. cheers

econ means that the air con compresser is turned off thus saving fuel and no cooling of the air

econ is short for economy so when the air con compressor is off you are being more economic
