Hi
Recently had the situation where the "Eco" light on the air con was staying on pretty much continually. Got the system regassed without improvement so next step was to fit a new pressure switch on the condensor radiator (behind the headlight)
That hasn't fixed the problem.
On a longish run when the engine gets warm the system behaves itself. Switch the air con "On" the Eco light stays off and the air con works. Press the button and the Eco light stays on, no cooling.
Short runs or stops when the revs drop the light goes on and off at random so I'm wondering if the problem is with the magnetic clutch on the compressor.
Don't think the fault is with the compressor itself as the car has only done about 28000 and on a longish run the air con works fine.
Question is. Is the magnetic clutch fed by a relay and if it is where is it ?
Did have a copy of Elsawin which would show me but stupidly ran a Windows update and now it won't open
