Quick techie question.

I've been told that it isn't possible to fit an aftermarket Mk3 Ibiza front ARB to my 1994 8v GTi as the bar interferes with the lambda sensor on the exhaust. I'm sure that I've heard people have got this setup.

Has anyone got this sort of setup and if so, how did you get around the lambda probe issue?

Thanks

Got one on my 97 16v so unaware of any problems. Job done at Autotechnik as you have had done in the past.

Thanks Ed. Is yours a facelift or not? Car has just been in AutoTechnik for several weeks whilst they tried to get an H&R one from a Mk3 to fit. In the end they told me that it wouldn't due to the lambda sensor. Which make is yours? Thanks, Jason.

agree there - there's a bug 'hump' in teh bar that avoids the area.

not all downpipes are created the same, so it's a very 'blanket' statement to give

do it yourself, stu's written an excellent guide on the main page, and it's very easy to do (certainly not worth paying someone who can't do it to do it..)
