Hi all,

today i had my Seat Leon Cupra R tested on the dyno and the results are little disappointing.

212 pk and 390Nm with the turbo

in limp mode it had

157 pk and 2**Nm

so i guess the car is still stock or there is something not right ??

somebody tested his stock Leon also ? with what results cuz it looks like it has less horsepower then it sais on paper...

Greetings,

as with searching posts for the last few months , its seems dynos are like the lottery numbers plucked out of a hat

it also makes a difference with tempretures , hot vs cold air etc , what the rollers

if you took it on the rollers next month it might be more , ??

I wouldn't bother about loosing 13 BHP but it doesn't seem to be remapped with that figure.
With a freer flowing cold air induction kit and a better DV your figures might rise.
A remap should take you to 250 BHP minimum

i have spoken to JD Engineering.

when i remap my car it would get about 265Bhp and 420 Nm torque

nice figures but it costs about 680 euro's

i got 210bhp with my standard 225bhp, 272bhp when mapped (same rollers same day, before and after mapping) :)

For that price you'd be cheaper to come over the South England and get one of the companies there to do it.
Custom code are doing Stage 1 for about 300 euro's (at todays exchange rate)
Won't cost you 380 euro's to get there and back

yeah maybe so,

but i get a remap that is dyno tested just for my car.

and they use the software used by ABT - pon

i can also get it done here for 250 euro's. they will come to my house and install the chip in my car while i am at home. but JD engineering also races with Leon's and Ibiza's in the seat cup here.

Fair enough bud, you can get the custom map here too but you will need to spend alot of money on your car before its worth getting a custom remap
A Custom Remap would be about 450 euros here

Got my LCR mapped on the dyno 2 weeks ago...

255Hp / 412Nm

but thats only the peak, i got a boost pressure problem... as you can see in the graph...

they guy told me he closed the waste gate completely but it still leaks boost, he thought the turbo was little bit dead... (95000 km on it)

so thats pretty sheit. normally an LCR would do 275 on rolling and he had to peak down the Torque over 3000 rpm

anyway here is the graph

And also when i put my foot down normally i only hear the turbo on the left side of the car where the induction kit and tip are but now it has a HUGE whistle on the right side too
