Dump valve vac pipe problem!

If you follow the vac pipe from the top of the dump valve it enters some black cylinder thing on top of the coilpacks, ive just noticed that the plastic nipple on the valve has cracked off ant the whole vac pipe is just hanging on slightly.

Quick fix for this or do I have to buy the black cylinder thingy, if so what is it?

Safe to drive the car with the pipe almost off?

not right mate think thats the N75 valve or its the n249 cant remember which now

u could block it and get a vacuum feed from the brake servo as a temp fix till u get a replacement, not recommended though

I thought the N75 was the green circled thing? The pipe thats snapped enters the side of the valve circled yellow.

What about blocking the one thats snapped and t-piecing into the next pipe round, look like they feed the same thing?

ah aint sure now its prob the n249 valve then

but when i first bought my car the dv wasnt connected to the valve, it was connected to the brake servo where it could get a small vacuum and the valve nipple was plugged

Bypass seems complicated, what about running about without it being connected, until I get another. Any dangers/risks?

Ive got a few problems with my LCR.. still :(

When driving a long if you put your foot down a bit then let off the gas and then back on again you get the subtle dump sound from the dv/dynatwist but when i put my foot back on.. its still there and *whooshes* all the way through the revs until i let my foot off and change gear, so im guessing this is the n249 thats being a n*b and keeping the DV open?

So im wondering if this mod is possible with a leon cupra r?

Thanks

The noise may just be the boost pressure building, sounds similar to whoosh when you change gear

Nope definitley not, you can here the sucking from the dynatwist.. but hear the whoosh over the top of it... it doesnt seem to pull as good either when its doing it, then it seems to jolt you forward when you let off and you can hear (what i think is) the DV closing and it makes like a sealing noise ... if you get what i mean :(

Thanks

P.S

Im going to buy a new N75, MAF, N249 & other bits in january.. seems as new DV, new Dynatwist, Samco intercooler hoses & Samco T.I.P hasnt done the job. As the wooshing noise isnt my only problem :(

Im gonna try Bypass it when i get the time..

I did pull the vac pipe out of the black vaccum resovoir the other night.. started her up and when revving you could hear wastegate chatter/stall.. So stuck some tape over the Vac pipe which seemed to cure it. Took it for a spin, the pick up was awesome hardy any lag at all... so when i get time will bypass it properly

Thanks
