Dump Valve Replacement??

Just wondered how long standard dump valve usually lasts?? :shrug:

BTW only done 35K

BTW, is that a signature, or do you type that list of mods everytime?

just go to "user CP" at the top of the page, then on the left there is an option for "edit signature". It may only work once you've had a certain number of posts though?

yeh, i was gonna mention that form of signature earlier.... as bigjode says you can do it from within "UserCP".

The standard DV CAN last for ages. But then i've seen one on a 40k car thats totally knackered, and then a standard one from a car thats done 65k and still works fine.

If the car has any kind of boost increase (be it remap etc) then chances are it'll fail quicker.

I don't think i'll get flamed here, but the Forge/Baileys alternatives are not really a performance modification - more like a reliability mod - they CAN'T fail - so you know your DV is always working. Ok so they might have a slightly faster response time, but its not something your average driver would notice. Oh, and they are louder too (ever so slightly) but again, without some form of induction kit you'd be hard pressed to notice this either.

Get one because they are worth it :)
