Dump Valve For Mk4 Ibiza Fr

1st ever post so excuse any mistakes, ive newly bought myself a Seat Ibiza 1.8 20v Turbo FR which i am delighted with, however i am struggling to find a dump valve for it and have even been told it may not be possible to fit one, has anyone got any advice or recomendations?

Also any advice on where i could get a more solid parcel shelf that could hold a set of 6x9's?

I read somehere the turbo wont work properly with a new dump valve, i only want it for the noise but obviously not if its going to compromise the turbo, do you know anything about this?

Don't put 6x9's in, they are cack....not worth a **** as if you put a sub in, the sub will cause the 6x9's to waffle........6x9 is a **** speaker full stop.

Get yourself a set of good components, amp, Sub and an amp, and you;ll be much happier....

Forge 007P is the most favoured DV and Bailey also do one for the 1.8T

As stated in my post and matts, the forge one will work.......someones told you porkies....

The only thing is the DV has to be a recirculating DV ala forge/bailey recirc

As i've said in a previous post - IT ALREADY HAS ONE!!!!. The forge ones are uprated versions of the original bosh plastic one.

Only a dump to atmosphere valve wont work on the 1.8t VAG engines but some have managed to get them to work. Look for HKS and EIP (I think) but your looking at $300+

But eventually they throw up faults and can cause long term damage

Sorry fella,

You cant have a "Whoosy Dump Valve" on your car cos it WILL bugger it up. Get a Forge Re-Circ DV. You will get a slight whoosh, But dont expect it to sound like an RS Turbo or owt.

However with the right mods you can make it loud. Get an open cone airfilter not forced air which will improve the sound.

Having said that all i have is a forced air induction kit & its sounds good!
