Dumb A*s Seat Dealership

Had my car in at Seat dealership last week, the car was misfiring so i booked it into Seat to get the coil packs done as i had replaced the spark plugs few days before but still didnt help.(£45 for the plugs). So get the smarmy little engineer sh*t on the phone he says to me the coil packs are all great dont need replaced its your spark plug thats cracked. So pick the car up grudgingly give them the £68 for the hours inspection and pick up a new spark plug on the way home thinking this will resolve the problem....it didnt!! (£11) Still misfiring when boost comes on. So i thought maybe ive not fitted all plugs correctly and bought 4new plugs today another £45 and the thing is still misfiring. So booked it in to Seat on Tuesday so they better fit new coil packs coz im 99% certain this will resolve the problem they just dont want to do them under warranty...if they had done them the first time it had went in it would have saved me £169 plus petrol etc etc etc. I think they should give me the £68 for the hours inspection as they have not diagnosed it correctly!

Am i correct in thinking it is the coil packs?

Has anyone else had problems like this from Seat...

p.s. sorry for the moan but soooo pis*ed off with my local dealership just now, its a simple problem with a simple solution but they just cant see that and i hate when my car isnt running 100% :censored: :censored: :censored:

I've had some coil packs go replaced them myself, the dealers are often a waste of time. Am surprised there machines should have picked the fault up, you should defiantly try and get some money back from them!

Ask for the money back!

I did this when they failed to manage to change the batteries in my Key fob!!! They were on about a whole new key etc etc

I went back and complained after I put new batteries in and it worked....they refunded me.

That was King's, Portsmouth btw.
