Dual climate temp controls

When I first got my Leon FR, pressing the right hand temperature control would adjust both sides of the car. Now, it only does the driver side. Is this a setting that has changed? Am I doing something silly? How do I adjust both sides with one press?

Someone will have altered the passenger side one which stops them working together.

If you hold the Auto button down for a couple of seconds this will put them back in sync.

Yeah that would be the missus! You have provided me with a rapid reply with an instant solution - Don't let the Mrs touch anything!

Thank you!

Hi,

Your not going crazy - it is a kind of setting you have changed.

Holding the auto button on the climate control console for approx 5 seconds will re-engage the dual controls where they both change via the right hand adjustment button. You will notice this has worked because if the temperatures are set at different levels the left hand temp will jump to match the right hand temp when this has worked.

However, you should note that adjusting the temperature from the left hand adjustment button (ie if a passenger changes their temperature) will desync the dual control system. Only takes 5 seconds to re-engage though.

Hope this helps and is clear enough to follow.

Still, much appreciated thanks!

I even looked in the manuall and could not see it mentioned. It was a 'quick look' mind you.

Cheers
