DTH Throttle Bodies

after going for a spin in a subarooooo today i decided i need more power.. did a google search on throttle bodies, and quickly found my self on badger5.co.uk. Came across some Direct To Head Throttle Bodies, coupled with an exhaust and mild Cams the 2L lump is kicking out a couple hundred ponys...

So F2 stu are u running DTH throttle bodies, and if so howd u find fitting them and wot not.. also badger bill doesnt show a price im expecting it to be a couple of Grand.

Any info on throttle bodies on the ABF engine appreciated.

You'd need to do other engine works to exploit the Tb's to full effect, bare minimum of cams and gasflowed & ported head, 4 branch manifold & exhuast & a rev cap of 7500 otherwise the flywheel will part company with the crank

Your basically looking at around 2k's worth of parts just for the TB set up costs will vary dependant on what you use etc.

the 200bhp level does'nt come from slapping t'bodies onto a std motor. An already motor which "wants" to breathe is the starting point to gain best bang for buck returns for t'bodies which when combined with the mappable management to suit, are expensive.
