DSG or not DSG, that is the question

I am trying to decide whether I want a dsg fr or a manual one.
I have never driven with DSG, I find the idea of not having a clutch frankly, weird but I understand that some people who like a sporty car also like dsg.
I have the option of getting one at quite a good price, pretty much the same price as an equivalent model without the DSG. I am going to try it but wondering if I am wasting my time.
What do people think?

Have DSG and love it often use the flappy paddles on nice twistys and have started using the stick for dsg changes also good fun

I liked the dsg so much I would have bought the cupra if it had it, ut instead went for my fr as I have a fair bit of a commute in and out of traffic every day and find not having a left peddal definitely helps!

I love my DSG, specially as I sit in traffic most the time, depends on ure circumstances and what kind of driving u wud mainly be doing. I wud never go bk to a manual now.
