Anyone else have the same problem with the DSG and downhill assist? I live in a pretty hilly area and even on fairly gentle slopes it seems to end up in 3rd gear and 5000 revs most times, which feels really excessive and I end up pulling the up paddle to change back up.
The first time it did it I thought the engine was going to burst, who the hell designs a system to do that to a brand new engine?
Is there any other option than putting it in manual before approaching a descent?
