Rite then im in need of a nearside driveshaft for my 2.0 16v mk2 which as we all know is the same abf engine they use in the mk3 golf. So am i right in saying that a mk3 golf driveshaft off a 2.0 16v will be a straight fit?

Different....

Mk2 Ibiza ABF NSDriveshaft (100mm) = 191407271AC

Mk3 Golf ABF NS Driveshaft = 1H0407271CX

Totally different Part Numbers

I have the same problem, but I have broken the driveshaft on the right side.

I am trying to get a used driveshaft, but there is not many Ibiza 2.0 16V in Norway. I have tried to get from Golf, but they are to long.

Can I use one from a Polo or another VW?

I have a Ibiza 2.0 16V, 98 mod. It is a rally car, but the transmission is standard.

u could use corrado g60 or 16v ones or even mk2 golf gti one, i think the splines should be the same size but if there not just swap the ends for the ones u need, they are an easy swap
