driveshaft nut size

am looking for the size of the nut at the hub end of the driveshaft? am changing my springs and have to take the hub and shock out as one unit cause i couldnt get the shock out on its own!

should never need to release the driveshaft to replace shocks......

undo the balljoint to wishbone and swing the hub out if its too tight.

have you undone the arb link to the wishbone to drop the hub?

i had just undone the pinch bolt at the bottom of the shock and the top mount and tried to wiggle it out, that didnt work though

it wont mate, not enough room for that.

undo the arb dropling that connects to the arb itself, the hub will drop allowing enough room to get the shock out. you will need to place a cold chisel or a special hub seperator behind the hub to split it enough to release the shock.

the drivers side is harder, as it wont drop that much when the arb link released.
