Driver's wing mirror replacement

Just back from holiday and somebody has completely smashed the driver's side mirror (electric, non folding) off my 2003 V5 Toledo. Unhelpful!! Searched the forums and guides but still have a few questions:

(1) Is there a specific guide for changing the mirror? I've found the door card removal guide but can't find any specific help on the mirror.

(2) What VW or Audi mirrors are compatible?

(3) Any web sites (ebay aside) where I could pick up a replacement?

All help gratefully received.

Same thing happened to me last xmas eve! I got a replacement from Eurocarparts and it cost me 20 quid at a local spray shop to spray and fit!

all you do is pop of the back cover on the inside there should be a few screw undo them unplug the mirror cablle and ta da

Guess it just depends how far back the damage goes? all the wires behind mine were ripped out
