Drivers window losing its memory ?

Rookwise

Meeeep Meeeeep !!!!!
This doesn't happen all the time but occasionaly. My drivers window loses its memory on the auto up when pressing the window switch. Auto down and manual up/down all work fine. Just the auto up.

If I re-program the window again (Holding the switch down until the window is down completly and then holding up until the wondow is closed) it will work fine for a while.

Could this be a problem with the switch or something inside the door ?

I have a 2002 Leon 1.4s with electric windows on the front only.

I've heard about a similar problem on the VW Lupo and SEAT Arosa electric windows but can't remember what caused it to happen.

Any help would be great :)

Mine has done it periodically since i bought the car. I always put the window all the way down and up again, turn off the car and its fine. Gremlins in there somewhere.

this has also happened to me a couple of times. I think it was mainly when i was doin about 60-90mph with the window down, then putting it up. The drag from the wind i thought was causing the window to assume there was an obstruction and going into safety mode so a child doesnt get suffercated by the window closing on there neck.

works fine again once reset
