Drivers Seat

Cleaned the car today (well impressed with results )

While hoovering the interior (cloth) i noticed on the drivers seat on the leg bolster it is starting to wear badly! the metal bar is almost exposed!

Anyone had this problem and would it be under warrenty?

I have a vague recollection that someone else did, and had a battle getting it done under warranty...

Not common anyway.

Had this problem and it was fixed by the dealer....I assume it was done under warranty....I didn't pay for it anyway You could feel the metal frame on the outside of the seat (although the seat cover wasn't worn) and the dealer replaced the seat cushion/padding in the base of ther seat. TBH it's not a lot better......must be my svelte-like physique although in my defence I've had a number of high performance cars (including a Mk 2 GTI and a VR6) and never had a problem with the seats up to now.

yep had mine done too as all the leather was baggy cause the padding has gone

My Recaro bolster collapsed, they did that under warranty!
