Ive done a search to no avail, i have on my side two drive shafts which im wanting to send off to powdercoating but the drivers side item has that stupid rubber weight is in the way

1. any suggestion on how to remove it if it can be removed
2. any idea on a part number
3. should i just get it painted and mask off the rubber?

also whilst im on the subject how much roughly would i be looking for a new drivers side inner cv joint and bush kit,

powercoating will melt it

mine are removed completely, not adverse effect.. you need a cutting disk

mine have been rusted onto them... clamped but rusted beyond undoing, and there was a metal sleeve bonded to the rubber.

Its not a balance as such but a harmonic damper I think to take resonant frequencies out.. along the lines of that 5kg weight bolted to the subframe.. :banghead:
