Drilled Aluminium Footrests

I know there's been some discussion about this before, but I loved the look of these:

Unfortunately the guy who was making them had to stop as his workshop closed. So what are the alternatives?

I know the r32 clutch rest fits but it's damn expensive and there's nothing for the right hand footrest. I have seen other clutch rest plates on German ebay but think they look awful. Does anyone know of anywhere that does nicely styled left and right footrests?

The ones in the photo looked so nice and were generating a fair bit of interest - does anyone know of anywhere that would custom-make them at a sensible price, especially if a few of us were interested? I want some!

Yep, a couple of people let him down, and he still has a couple of left hand sides left, no right ones i believe. Hopefully he still has them...

No response to my PM yet. I too really wanted a right one as well. I would have thought this kind of product would go down well on here and probably on ebay as well. Does no one have the skills to take this on, or at least know where to get a batch done at reasonable cost? Don't want to take any business away from the guy who first produced these, but it seems he's not in a position to do any more. Does anyone have a small metalworks/engineering company near to them who might be interested?

Thanks mate, I appreciate that.

Although I would have loved a right one too, I would take a left one on its own if it's available. If people have let him down before I can assure him that he would have prompt payment from me in advance of delivery if he wants to PM me (I'm a man of my word, though I hope I would be fisrt in the queue if this thread generates more interest!). Oh, and Chaz/Alex - be great if you can come back to me if you get anything sorted - only thing is unless the original maker comes back to me with one still available I'm going to need a left one made as well!
