I have enquired about DPF removal and it sounds promising, however the law regarding MOT's has had slight changes from Feb 2014. The change states that the DPF will be checked and the vehicle will automatically fail the MOT test if the filter had been fitted as standard but is found to be no longer present.
The company that can do the DPF delete say the cut a piece out of the pipe , remove the filter, replace piece in the pipe, ECU updated, done.
Can the filter be still checked by the MOT inspector?? If so how??
