downpipe revo

a question no one can answer me straightly?
i have just gone stage 2 with my ibiza turbo mk3 with a decat not downpipe but full systemgreen cotton twister induction kit 4 bar fuelling.
i have a huge problem as its actually slower than stage 1 with just diverter valve. big boys toys are telling me its my air mass which is reading 150 of air and some say thats not it its the downpipe? i am going to get a custom downpipe made but why is my car slower with all these mods done than it was with just stage 1? will a downpipe make that much difference or could it be that the timing lb hb is all wrong causing it to hold back so much?
anyone had sinilar problems?
any help needed!!!!!!!!!!

you need a downpipe as suggested

air mass at 150g/s is 'about right' given you've not met the spec required.

so would if it was you? first fit a downpipe first (any recomendations of size only running k03 maybe k03s in future but no bigger)
i have been told 2.5" or 3" would you go 2.75" rest of system 2.5"
or would you replace air mass aswell?
could this be causing my car to be that much slower than other stage 2 cars and not as fast as stage1?

MAF looks ok as a peak reading for a poorly setup stage 2, not sure on the downpipe - you don't need it too big - I used the analogy of farting into a dustbin before...

on the different turbo sizes are the down pipe fittings still the same because i want to know if the 130bhp downpipe will fit on my 100bhp tdi

downpipe fitted by torque exhausts enfile excellent now more power no brick wall just turbo k03 runs out of puff at 5,5k but would putting new spring in dump valve help hold boost a bit better mid range as i have green spring an boost to 18psi but would this boost to 19-20psi if stronger spring was in my dump valve as i think it could be leaking boost off at 18 not holding it?

dont forget that stage is also a smoother delivery and doesnt have that initial boost spike.

the gain should be higher up the rev range.

i got my downpipe for £180 2.5 inch could have whatever i wanted up2 3inch they also do the best exhaust system around the vortex which gives an extra few bhp an alot more torque. they will do a downpipe an full system for £550 including vortex. its called torque exhausts in enfield they do have a website called torque exhausts
