Downpipe removal?

Well took my car to have new turbo fitted yesterday. And they couldnt get the bolts off the downpipe One came off though the others are seized.
Anyone know any techniques to get it off? Apart from soaking wd40 on them?

Car now re-booked in for weeks time so they can have few days with her

they will snap studs off the turbo if they put too much force on the bolts, seen this happen many a time.

not alot you can do, maybe try when its a little bit warm?

If your changing the turbo dont worry if they get snapped. Just fit new ones if you need to, to the turbo you are fitting.

Try soaking them in WD40, worked with mine!!!

Earliest they can redo is a week on thursday
But may spray it with wd40 every few days? May help it.

Hopefully they wont have to drill out the bolts!!!

Snap the studs and get new ones from dealer dont cost much, both the nuts and turbo studs

2 of the studs on my turbo snapped when the DP was being changed. Turbo off, and had to get it re-drilled.

Any part numbers? May buy some in readiness, incase mine snap when doing mine!

goods luck with the DP< im gonna fit a replacement cat this week, soakig mine over night with wd40/penetrating oil.

Hope i get them off without winding off a stud
