Doorcard/speaker sound deadening

Hi guys
Has anyone done the sound deadening in the door cards and round the speakers?
If so what product/make you use as there are some real crap ones out there. Was to make the door speakers sound better than they are now without the door vibrating

I used this in my boot where the spare wheel is. You could use it in your doorcards. I want to do my doorcards and wheel arches too, but a bit scared of taking em all apart.

Thanks pal doorcards are easy to take apart done it few times but not sure bout wheel arches, will prob also get some 6mm foam to go round the speakers

Any pics of where you stuck this in the boot?
And how much difference did it make?

It has made some difference. Road noise coming from the back has reduced. There’s still noise from the doors and wheel arches though. Before and after.

Some people have put the carpet in from a golf. It fits. The Leons never had one.

The pre-facelift ST had carpet in the boot, they dropped it on the facelift car.
