Door lock - help please?

Hello

I'd be greatful if any one can offer any advice on the following:

When I lock my 2003 Ibiza 1.9 TDi (130) sport, using the remote key fob, the first press of the button locks both doors and arms the alarm.

However press the lock button again, the drivers door remains locked but the passenger door pushes the lock pin up and unlocks its self and can be opened...

Any ideas on what the cause maybe? I only picked the car up on Friday

Hi. You say remote key fob. So the remote lock/unlock is not part of the key (?).

Looks like it needs reprogramming. Take it back to the dealer (or wherever you got it from) and get them to fix it. Possibly not something that would necessarily be checked.

There's a thread on here not so long ago about a remote which wouldn't work. The solution was to get it reprogrammed.

Thankyou for your reply, sorry I realise that I wasn't very clear on that one...

I'm reffering to the standard SEAT key with the buttons for locking / unlocking the doors.

It's going to Hidsons SEAT (Maidstone) for a service soon, I'll see if they can have a look at it.
