Door lock broken

Hi all

My key fob broke a long time ago, so the car has just been locked and unlocked with the door lock. Yesterday the door lock wouldn't lock.

When you turn the key to lock it just clicks like it isn't quite engaging something. Try and unlock it and its fine. A nice positive motion and healthy clunk from all the locks going up, but then go the other way to lock again and just a little click. Not even the drivers door locks.

Any ideas? Or failing that any ideas how to remove the window carrier panel behind the door card. I've already had it partly off to watrproof the leaky panel, but noticed the window mechanism would foul on the door cut out.

I've done a search, but can't find anything.

this has happened to mine also, but mine wont unlock either, took it to stoke seat and they have booked me in for diagnostics on monday. so ill let you know how i get on
