does anybody now how to remove the door handle from a mk4 ibiza

theres a small cap next to the lock mechanism on the back of the door, take it off and unscrew allen bolt inside pull the lock (key part) out, , little black clip with bike cable on it, pop this out, wiggle and remove handle

Or do you mean as in smooth off the exterior and have no handles?!

yes , also went to seat to get some primed mouldings to colour code, but was told they dont sell primed ones just black textured ones. does any model in the range come with them standard painted ones?

Don't think any Ibizas come with them colour coded, you'll have to prime them yourself. You can't really tell they're textured once they're painted up.

Make sure you use plastic primer though. I got mine from Halfrauds for about £5.
I also tried filler primer but it didn't really work!

My brothers 'SE' mk4 came with red colour coded handles when he bought it last year

Alot of Ibiza's are im afriad, FR's Cupra's etc!

Just nick somes ones when they are not looking

OK maybe I'm not following what "primed mouldings" are... can someone enlighten me

You can buy the door handles prrimed and ready for painting direct from seat basically!

From this post (primed mouldings and black textured ones), I thought Gaz had moved onto talking about the bump strips on the door.

yes i had moved to talking about the door mouldings seems i confused a few people sorry, A friend put me in touch with a painter hes going to do them for me . thanks for your help
