does yours creak from here?!?

my mk2 has always had the odd little creak/groan from here and there, tbh it doesn't really bother me. but over past 2-3 days (since slightly warmer weather, coincidence??) i'm getting creaks from the front of the roof i.e. just above were your head is and slightly more to the front.

i'm wondering if it's padding and/or fitments inside that part of the roof that have started to move/rub? had car since sep 08 and never had this before. anyone else have a creaking roof?

I had a small creak in that area once, adjusted my rear view mirror and it went!

not from the roof, but a minor creak from from the seat belt adjuster in the pillar...

Had a rattle from around the interior light/interior alarm sensor area on mine (mine has a sunroof) The trim in question has metal clips pressed into the plastic trim. I removed this trim and if held in my hand it was like a blooming tamberine The metal clips were quite loose in the trim. A dot of superglue on each one and then refit the trim and it was all quiet.
