Does the Mk2 Leon pull to the left like Mk1's?

Hi people, that question sounds I bit strange I admit but my mk1 Leon Cupra R has a really bad pull to the left and no amount of 4 wheel alignment by SEAT is able to sort it out.

I am thinking about changing to a Mk2 FR and wonder if any owners have or have had any handling problems. It appears many other mk1 Leon owners experience the annoying pull to the left, has it carried forward to the new Leon?

Cheers

Although it is normal to pull to the left on roads with a camber.

I've owned a mk1 Leon, mk4 Golf, mk4 Beezer and a Fabia vRS: They all pulled to the left to a greater or lesser extent. However my mk5 Golf doesn't really have any significant pull (same chassis so a valid enough reply!).

when I bought my leon MK1 I was amazed how much it pulled to the left, I was going to take it in until I read this forum.

Is it problem with all the VW range?

I too had problems with the mk1 pulling to the left, however when I took it to the stealers they told me that it was the camber in the road that was causing it.

Had my mk2 now for 6 months and haven't experienced any pull.

My Golf Mk4, pulls to the leftvery slightly, it is more noticeable on some roads, due to the camber.

When i first got it, i checked tracking (several times) had it back for warranty work, only to be told, they all do that sir.

I joined the UK-MKIVS forum, and found that the tracking is very sensitive, had my Golf re-tracked at a very good specialist, and it only pulls slightly, tyre wear is very even.

I was suprised how much difference on the steering the camber in the roads makes on the MK1. It is by far the worst in any car I have drove. But I suppose that adds to the fun.

No pulling effect on Mk2 stylance, very stable so that i can take my hands off the steering wheel even with 160km/h.

My Mk1 does the same. I also worried about it until I read somewhere that it was quite normal. New Mk2 FR only a week away, so will compare then.

I used to have a 306 (don't judge me!) GTI 6 and that will pull all the time, but then I found out it's steering rack had gone for a cost of £700!

My Leon doesn't pull to the left either, unlike my 05 New shape Astra (which I got rid of).

That had such a bad pull to the left, it would change from the outside to inside lane on the motorway whilst holding the steering wheel straight!!
