Does anyone know how to replace an indicator bulb in dashboard

Hi

My seat leon cupra just been in for a MOT and failed on the indicator bulb on the dashboard light not working, any tips on how to replace this please? :help:

I have been checking on the forum and haven't been able to find anything regarding this :(

The dash clocks have to come out - not done it myself on the Leon but normally the plastic surround comes out then a couple of screws hold the clocks in. Cables on the back don't usually have much slack so you'll have to feel around the back for the connections to get them off. The pic in the link shows that the screws are at the base of the clocks.

thanks a lot for this, will try this tomorrow, hopefully its only a bulb as now and then a couple hits on the dash and the bulb works for a wee bit

Seems like a dry joint if hitting it brings it back on. You might be able to resolder or get someone to do it for you. I very nearly posted that they are all LED but saw a bulb holder on the ETKA diagrams and figured that maybe it could have been a bulb - but I agree with Lee that its an LED.
