dodgey E.C.U???

hi guys scaned my car a couple of days ago and it threw up a coolant temp sensor fault so i replaced the sensor cleard the codes and it didnt come back however i did get another code,

18048 internal control module (eeprom) error p1640 intermittant.

ive done a search and it seems that the E.C.U is chucking the fault up because its been modified or because its sha**ed... either way doesnt sound good! am i right in saying this is the cause of the error code?

i had it once come but cleared it and never came back again - although wish i could say the same for the other fault codes i get

nope, it drives fine and i have no other fault codes. just a bit worried about it

what other fault codes do you have, any bad?

can wait and see what anyone else thinks but shouldnt imagine its anything worth worrying about
